The racers must leave the city of Calama and fly to Puerto Montt, Chile. The animosity toward Rob and Amber continues to grow, but they are not the only source of frustration. The desire to get on an earlier fight sparks many arguments in the airport. When the teams land, there is a Roadblock waiting for them. They must remove fish from a tank in order to receive their next clue. After completion, the racers find a Detour. They can choose between Vertical Limit, in which they must perform a forty-foot rock climb, and River Wild, in which they must take a boat through a white water rafting course.
